A new smartphone app that translates baby talk has hit the market, and parents are more confused than ever. The app, called BabyTalk, promises to decode what infants are saying.
However, many users report receiving translations such as “Goo goo ga ga” meaning “I demand a spaceship” and “Wah wah” translating to “More broccoli, please.” Developers say they’re working on updates to improve accuracy.
Despite the initial hiccups, some parents find the app entertaining. “It’s hilarious to see what the app thinks our baby is saying,” one parent said. “We just hope it doesn’t actually think we’re supposed to buy a spaceship!”
BabyTalk is available for download on all major app stores, with the developers promising more accurate translations in future updates.
