Scientists at the Institute of Dairy Innovation have developed a new type of cheese that glows in the dark. The glowing cheese, dubbed “Luminello,” was created by introducing bioluminescent bacteria into the cheese-making process.
“It’s a fun way to add some light to your cheese platter,” said Dr. Brie Camembert, the lead scientist on the project. Luminello is expected to hit store shelves next year, and cheese enthusiasts are already excited about the possibilities. “Imagine the glow-in-the-dark fondue parties!” one fan exclaimed.
